Aimed at school children, this initiative seeks to ignite curiosity and passion for space exploration, technology, and science among the youth, who represent the future architects of our nation.

Empowering Future Innovators:

The YUVIKA programme aspires to impart fundamental knowledge in Space Technology, Science, and Applications to students, introducing them to the cutting-edge developments and trends in the field. By catching students at a young age, ISRO hopes to inspire them to pursue careers and research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), thus nurturing a pipeline of future innovators and leaders in the space industry.

Key Dates and Eligibility:

Registration for the programme opens on February 20, 2024, and closes on March 20, 2024. Moreover,Eligible candidates are students currently studying in Class 9 as of January 01, 2024, within India. Selection criteria encompass various parameters, including academic performance, participation in science fairs, Olympiads, sports competitions, and extracurricular activities like Scouts, Guides, NCC, and NSS. Additionally, the program gives preference to students from rural areas, aiming to ensure inclusivity and diversity in participation.

How to Apply:

Registration for the YUVIKA programme is conducted online through the ISRO Antariksha Jigyasa Platform. Applicants must verify their email, participate in an online quiz, and fill in personal and educational details. Additionally, Document verification by the school principal is mandatory, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and integrity in the application process. Once submitted, applications cannot be altered, underscoring the significance of thoroughness and accuracy.

How to Register for YUVIKA-2024?

  1. Step-1: Register in ISRO Antariksha Jigyasa Platform-https://jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/registration
  2. Step-2: Verify your email as received after successful registration in above website. Please click on the verification link sent to your registered email ID.
  3. Step-3: Participate in SpaceQuiz. Read Quiz guidelines carefully before appearing for the quiz.
  4. Step-4: Fill your personal profile and education details
  5. Step-5: Student need to take photo copy of the certificates and attest the same by the principal/Head of School signing the certificate for verification. The verified certificate needs to scan and upload into the website. The photo copy of attested certificates and certificate for verification need to be uploaded in the website.
  6. Step-6: Generate your certificate for verification by your principal/Head of School/ Parent/ Guardian (Any mismatch observed in the attached certificate (s) by the student and certificate for verification submitted by student will liable for cancellation of candidature of the student)
  7. Step-7: Scan and upload your document and submit the application.

Experience and Benefits:

Selected students will embark on an enriching journey from May 13 to 24, 2024, participating in the YUVIKA Programme at seven prestigious ISRO centres across India, including IIRS, VSSC, SDSC, URSC, SAC, NRSC, and NE-SAC.

Moreover,ISRO covers all travel expenses, provides lodging, boarding, and course materials, ensuring a seamless and immersive learning experience.
