The Pillars of IndiaAI Mission:

  1. IndiaAI Compute Capacity:
    A cornerstone of the initiative is the IndiaAI Compute Capacity, a forward-looking project designed to establish a state-of-the-art, scalable AI computing infrastructure. With a focus on collaboration between the public and private sectors, the mission aims to deploy over 10,000 Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) to drive innovation and efficiency in AI applications.
  2. IndiaAI Innovation Centre (IAIC):
    The approval includes the establishment of the IndiaAI Innovation Centre (IAIC), envisioned as a leading academic institution. IAIC will play a pivotal role in nurturing top research talent, driving the development. Its deployment of foundational AI models, with a specific emphasis on indigenous Large Multimodal Models (LMMs) and domain-specific models.   3. IndiaAI Datasets Platform:
    The Independent Business Division (IBD) of IndiaAI will develop the IndiaAI Datasets Platform. It is receiving a boost to enhance the accessibility, quality, and utility of public sector datasets.   4. IndiaAI Startup Financing:
    A significant focus of the mission is on fortifying the IndiaAI Startup Financing mechanism. The proposal also includes provisions for funding industry-led AI projects with a focus on social impact, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
  5. IndiaAI Futures kills:
    The IndiaAI Future Skills program is geared towards expanding the reach of AI education. This includes increasing accessibility to graduate and post-graduate AI programs. It is establishing Data and AI Labs across major cities as well as smaller towns. The program aims to impart foundational-level courses in Data and AI, ensuring a diverse and widespread skill development ecosystem.
