Our team is responsible for carrying out Performance Analysis on CPUs and System IP put together as SoCs in pre- and post-Silicon environments.

Responsibilities as a Staff /Principal Performance Engineer :
- As part of our team, you will push CPUs & System IP to their Performance limits – targeting the IP’s internal architecture and how it interacts with the rest of the system.
- The role involves benchmarking and analysing Performance of IPs and SoCs, characterising benchmarks and workloads, helping our partners achieve the best possible performance using our technology.
- You will work with cross-site design teams, performance teams throughout the organisation and product marketing to push our IP to its limits.
- There will be opportunities to make a difference by actively contributing to performance analysis methodologies which are improved continuously to match design advancements.
- Mentoring and/or managing junior engineers in the team is part of the role.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 13 to 20 Yrs of experience!
- Understanding of CPU or SoC architecture and microarchitecture.
- Hands-on experience in Performance Analysis of complex CPUs/SoCs.
- Experience in leading or managing a team.
- Experience with C/C++/Python or other languages.
- HW and SW debugging skills on Silicon or Pre-Silicon.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills and desire to work as part of a team.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with hardware acceleration platforms like Emulation and FPGA.
- Experience with Arm or x86 Assembly.
- Experience in workload profiling and characterisation.
